This really depends on how often your machine is being used and whether it’s a commercial machine or a home espresso maker. For in-home espresso machines, many of our customers can keep their machines clean with as little as 1 sachet per month.
For commercial and high-use applications such as in coffee shops, bars, or restaurants, it is recommended for daily use. The best schedule is for the barista to clean the espresso machine each night after service. This routine cleaning will prevent the buildup or accumulation of stale coffee oils which can ruin the taste of the next day’s espresso brews.
